Benjamin A. Brewer allegedly enters Shippensburg home; requests calm
SHIPPENSBURG — A 19-year-old Philadelphia man was charged after he allegedly entered a home where he did not know the residents but advised them to “stay calm.”
Benjamin A. Brewer allegedly entered 7 E. Burd St. through the front door and told the residents to stay calm, according to Shippensburg Police.
Three residents were home at the time, in the living room, and stated they do not know Brewer, police said.
Brewer was told to leave multiple times but refused until one of the residents used pepper spray, police said.
He left the scene and was spotted by police minutes later. He was charged with defiant trespass.
