33rd Shippensburg Corn Festival scheduled for Aug. 31

SHIPPENSBURG – The 33rd Shippensburg Corn Festival, run by an all-volunteer committee, is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 31 in downtown Shippensburg – on portions of U.S. 11 and some side streets.

About 300 vendors are participating, with crafts and food. There will be entertainment, craft demonstrations, an antique car show and the fifth corn-eating contest.

Profits benefit local causes. Admission is free. Parking at a cost of $3 is available and free shuttle service is offered.
