Corn Festival 2013 T-shirts are on sale now
SHIPPENSBURG — If you wait until the festival, you might miss your chance – this year’s Corn Festival T-shirts are on sale now at Victorian Corner,211 E. King St., Shippensburg.
Following in a long line of original-design, collectible T-shirts marking the annual Shippensburg Corn Festival, the 2013 model features a portrait of festival mascot Corny the Scarecrow and an ear of corn on an attractive cornflower-blue shirt.
Designed by Corn Festival Committee member H.I. Gates, the 2013 shirt features the artwork on the back of the shirt, framed with the words “Shippensburg Corn Festival” in white letters.
Shirts are available in sizes small to 3x, but quantities are extremely limited in some sizes. Any shirts remaining at the end of August will be available for sale at the information booths during the event.
Victorian Corner also has a few Corn Festival tote bags featuring the festival logo on a sunshine-orange bag. T-shirts are $10 and tote bags are $5.
