4 March 2013 No Comment

A Georgetown, Pa., man is accused of selling stolen skid loaders to residents in the Shippensburg area.

State police at Carlisle allege that Gabriel Steven Bonish, 52, was renting several skid loaders and tractors from Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania and brought them to Pennsylvania to sell them and turn a profit.

Several skid loaders were run through the National Crime Information Center and came back as stolen.

Bonish was located on March 2 and taken to Cumberland County Prison. He has warrants for his arrest from several police departments in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Police said it is believed that Bonish has sold other stolen items to other individuals in Pennsylvania. Any dealerships that rented equipment to Bonish are urged to contact Pennsylvania State Police, Carlisle.
