Temperatures nearly drop to single digits in Shippensburg
SHIPPENSBURG – Temperatures nearly dropped to single digits overnight, according to Shippensburg University’s Department of Geography and Earth Science.
At 5:53 a.m. Wednesday, it was 10.3 degrees.
Including the wind chill, it was much colder. The department reported a wind chill of 8.9 degrees around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service said it will be gradually warming through the week with highs in teens today, followed by highs in the 20s through the end of the week. There is a chance of snow Friday.
