Christmas for Causes holiday craft show to benefit local charities
SHIPPENSBURG — Marcie Taylor of the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation of Shippensburg has organized the 3rd annual Christmas for Causes Holiday Craft/Gift Show. The event will be held Nov. 19 from 6-9 p.m. at Premier Events, 429 E. Orange St.
This event allows local shoppers to get a pre-Black Friday start to their holiday shopping while helping local non-profit organizations and charitable groups since a portion of all proceeds from the event will benefit causes designated by over 20 crafters and other participants involved.
Local groups benefitting from this year’s event include:
Better Days Animal Shelter, Caitlin’s Smiles, COTA for Alex C., Cure Crusaders Relay for Life Team, Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, Lester M. Cline P.A.P.S. Fund, March of Dimes, and Shippensburg Women’s Club,
The following types of items will be available for purchase:
Jewelry, homemade greeting cards, wine glass charms, purses, hats, mittens, scarves, knitted items to fit American Girl dolls, Christmas ornaments, Bonus Books, craft kits, hair accessories, tote bags, goat milk soaps, baked goods, and much more. Vendors from companies such as Cookie Lee jewelry, Mary Kay, Clever Container, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Simply Said, Thirty One and more will also be selling products and donating a percentage of the evening’s sales to local charities.
