A Shippensburg man is charged with throwing a cup of soup against a wall of a King Street business Tuesday night.

According to borough police, Mark Taylor, 48, ordered a soup to go and then returned to 2 W. King St. a short while later, complaining that he had spilled it in his vehicle. Police said he was yelling and cursing loudly at the staff.

The owner offered to clean his vehicle, but Taylor was not satisfied and went back into the restaurant. When the owner offered to give him a new cup of soup at no cost, police said he “hurled it against the wall, sending soup everywhere.”

Police found Taylor a short while later and charged him with disorderly conduct and scattering rubbish.
